Note: Sometimes the lesser known websites may be a good place to look in a competitive market.
Warning: Do not fall for scams. Unfortunately, there are scams out there where someone pretends to be an owner or property manager of a property and asks for an upfront fee. Do your best to see the property in person so at least you know someone has the keys to the property. Obtain your application directly from the person showing the property. Application fees should be around $75 or less, often per couple. Also, be careful when handing out your personal information.
